Since our Latest Update in June about COVID 19 Coronavirus, more and more people are traveling into Cancun with final destination the island of Cozumel. So we thought it was a good idea to inform you about our Flights. Especially these days when there is a limited number of buses between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. As well as a very limited availability of the ferry running between Playa del Carmen and Cozumel.
How it really is flying into Cozumel or Cancun, Mexico?
When you enter Mexico you most likely will pass a temperature scanner. You also might have to fill in your travel history of the past weeks in combination with personal details. At this moment wearing a face mask in public is an obligation. And at certain places you will be asked to keep social distance of 1.5 meters. Other than that all procedures like customs and immigration are same as usual.

At this moment the beaches at beach clubs are open in Cozumel and Cancun. Public beaches are not. The reason behind this is that beach clubs that are able to open, comply with governmental requirements and because of this social distance can be controlled.

Flights from Cancun to Cozumel during COVID 19 Coronavirus. How does it work?
When you arrive in the international airport of Cancun we will wait for you at the exit to bring you in a private van to the terminal for private flights. This is a 5 to 10 minutes (air conditioned) ride. At the private terminal we will introduce you to your pilot and you will board the airplane. Of course we will take care of your luggage. Your flight to Cozumel is 15 to 20 minutes only, air conditioned and fully private; so when your incoming flight is late we will wait for you.
